My nutrition journey began in Western Massachusetts, where I earned my bachelor’s degree at the University of Massachusetts Amherst and launched my career with the Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) program. That early experience deepened my commitment to helping individuals and families create healthier lives through education, empathy, and practical strategies.
I later pursued a Master of Public Health in Health Education and Promotion, equipping me with tools to support behavior change and client-centered care. Over the years, I’ve worked in both public health and clinical nutrition, including nearly a decade serving rural communities in North Carolina. Each role has allowed me to build meaningful connections and deliver personalized, compassionate support tailored to diverse needs.
Now based on the beautiful South Carolina coast, I continue to empower clients with evidence-based guidance rooted in real-life experience. Whether you’re navigating chronic conditions, exploring anti-inflammatory diets, or simply seeking to feel your best, I’m here to help you set realistic goals and take sustainable steps forward.
When I'm not consulting, you'll find me walking the beach, reading, or enjoying time with my dog Izzy, cat Angel, and horse Nona. They remind me daily that wellness includes joy, movement, and connection.
My love for food and nutrition started when my daughter was born. She had some pretty tough reactions to certain foods early on, which made me think about how what we eat affects our bodies. I learned so much through research, school, and just trying things out. I realized food isn't just about energy – it's the foundation of how we feel, think, and even heal. Now, I believe food can be a super powerful tool for keeping us healthy and getting better. Whether you're dealing with health issues, need more energy, or just want to feel good in your skin, I'm here to help you use nutrition like medicine – it's all about making it personal, practical, and making a real difference.
I focus on meeting clients where they are, building relationships to support their health goals. Changing habits takes time; I guide clients through the process. I emphasize that understanding how to fuel your body correctly can improve energy and quality of life. Healthy eating shouldn't be complicated or restrictive; I want clients to enjoy food and feel confident. Through education, I empower individuals to take control of their health and relationship with food.
